I love Pixar, Disney and Ghibli. They are the top three for me. Each provide a unique flavor to the animation landscape and inspire. They are great studios in their own way.Well, they all have their missteps and their flaws, but as a whole, they shape the entire animation landscape with their creativity and dedication to art.

Although Pixar and Disney may produce successful, entertaining films, Studio Ghibli creates chef d'oeuvres, true masterpieces of art. Studio Ghibli not only entertains but also educates viewers with films that can be enjoyed by all ages and still be applicable many years if not centuries from now.

I was only introduced to their work in 5th grade but man this studio is amazing. I can even compare their quality to that of Disney but at the same time I cannot. Ghibli does their own thing and their aura is a unique one that while it can compete with Disney's aura and quality it is still much irreplaceable. Not only that but the animation to all of their works I've seen is gorgeous, probably the best that I've ever seen (sorry Disney and Pixar) and easily the most defining trait of their films, but their movies also have relatable characters and well-written plots. Yeah apparently people consider it the Disney Studios of Japan but I honestly don't care because both animation companies are absolutely wonderful.Also why the heck is DreamWorks ahead of these guys? Yeah DreamWorks has some good films but oi their history is a gruesome and complicated one indeed. - Anonymousxcxc
